Design a Light Competition
Design Week 2011 will feature a new competition to design and build an original, functional light fixture. The competition is open to all; professionals, students, and the general public alike. You just must be a resident of Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba, and be at least18 years of age.* Have fun and be creative!
Selected entries will be publicly displayed during Saskatoon's Design Week 2011, November 14 to 18, with the juried finalists being awarded at the Premier's Award of Excellence in Design event.
Selected finalists will also be published in Saskatoon HOME Magazine's December 2011 issue.
The grand prize winner will receive:
- round trip for one to New York City,
- 3 nights accommodation,
- 1 Day Pass to the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in May 2012,
- and spending money!
Entry fee of $20 per entry
