2011 Premier's Awards for Excellence in Design

Awards were presented in the following catagories: architecture, community planning, graphic design, interior design, landscape architecture and collaborative (a collaborative entry demonstrates significant involvement of three or more member associations and cannot be entered in any other category).

Architecture presented by Honourable Bill Hutchinson, (Minister of Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport and MLA for Regina South), Keith Henry (HDH Architects), Daniel Reeves (aodbt architecture + interior design), Justin Wotherspoon (SEPW Architecture Ltd), Jason Hurd (aodbt architecture + interior design).

Community Planning presented by the Honourable Laura Ross (Minister of Government Services and MLA for Regina Qu'Appelle Valley) to the Jeanna South of the City of Saskatoon for their Public Spaces, Activity & Urban Form Strategic Framework Project.

Graphic Design winners, Honourable Bill Hutchinson, (Minister of Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport and MLA for Regina South), Christian Jensen (Christian Jensen Communications Design) - Award of Merit, Ryan Schmidt (Sparrowhaus) - Award of Excellence and two Awards of Merit and Tim Neal (Tap Communications) - Award of Merit.

Interior Design winners, David Hutton (Stantec Architecture Ltd), Minister Bill Hutchinson, Rebecca Stewart (Stantec Architecture Ltd), Ellyn Berg (Stantec Architecture Ltd), Pam Kelly (HDH Architects), Karlie Stewart (HDH Architects), Jeff Jurzyniec (Stantec Architecture Ltd).

Landscape Architecture winner Crosby Hanna & Associates.

Collaborative winners Stantec Consulting Ltd & Stantec Architecture Ltd for the River Landing Pedestrian Linkage.
